A fantastic sunny day for golf hosted the Lionel and Beryl Carlyon Bowl, with all groups ready to play the 4 ball better ball format.
With 30 pairs in the field, it was Vanessa Cariss and Sean Brett who came charging home, combining fantastically with a score of 45 points. They had kept their scorecard clean with no wipes, and were each on their card nine times. Vanessa came out firing with three birdies, and this was also Sean’s first trophy win at Green Acres which made it even more special.
