W.H Richardson Trophy Final – 22nd June

After a significant frost delay in the morning, a lovely day appeared for the final of the W.H Richardson Trophy board event. After a cracking start, Anne Corboy and John Hongmung were five up after six holes. But through determination and great golf, the husband and wife duo of James and Jacqui Moorhead were only one hole down after the 15^th. James holed a terrific putt on the 10^th hole from 20 feet, and hit an excellent green on the 17^th to come back square going into the final hole. But it was on the 18^th where John Hongmung hit an incredible green from 165 metres out, followed by Anne making the putt, that sealed the deal for the team of John and Anne. Well done to all involved and congratulations to our winners!
