The Green Acres Classic was a resounding success, with perfect golfing weather setting the stage for an exciting and closely contested tournament. Players battled it out until the final putt, showcasing their skill and determination, while the event maintained the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that has become synonymous with this annual competition. The spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship was evident throughout the day, reflecting the strong community values that Green Acres Golf Club holds dear.
Club President Rob Coxon expressed his delight in the event’s success: “Yesterday’s Classic was very successful in all aspects. We had a full field, and the afternoon weather was ideal, creating an enjoyable experience for everyone. Around 120 people attended dinner, and the room had a fantastic vibe. It was great to see a mix of long-standing members, new members, and younger players participating.”
Rob further praised the efforts of the club’s team: “I would like to extend my thanks to Nathan and Thomas for their excellent work in organizing the event.”
Rob also extended his appreciation to Bernie, the kitchen staff, and the service team for their outstanding contribution to the event.
