Members are advised that in accordance with Clause 42(b) of the Clubs’ Constitution and By Law 2.1 – The Board, open at the Clubs’ Office from 9.00am Monday 9 June 2025. Nominations close 5.00pm Monday 7 July 2025. The AGM is set to be held on Monday 4 August 2025 at 7.00pm.
Current Officers – Captain Chris Bate and Treasurer Steve Poole are not required to seek nomination as their 24-month term does not expire until the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Current Director Brent Scott is not required to seek nomination as his 24-month term does not expire until the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Current Director Caroline Dorrat resigned from her 24-month term which creates a casual vacancy for a 12-month term.
Nominations are required for office bearer TWO (2) positions:
Office Bearer positions (1) President will be for a 24-month term.
Office Bearer positions (1) Vice Captain will be for a 24-month term.
Nominations are required for Director FOUR (4) positions:
Director positions (3) will be for a 24-month term.
Director position – casual vacancy (1) will be for a 12-month term.
Nominee Information: Members are not permitted to act as a Director (without court consent) if they are declared bankrupt, or if they have been convicted of fraud or of an offence under Corporations’ Law, such as breach of duties as a Director or insolvent trading. Members who have been found guilty of a violation and or have breached the Code of Conduct are also not permitted to act as an Officer or Director (exclusion period applies).
Persons nominating for the Board of Directors must be at least 18 years of age.
Nomination forms for Officer and Director Positions are available for collection up until 5.00 pm Monday 7 July 2025 from Reception during office hours Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
