It was threatening to rain all day, thankfully it held off for the playing of the 2025 Green Acres Cup Final. Our finalists were Jackson O’Reagan and Kyle Bickle vs Thad Bednarski and Dicky Mole.
Coming in hot from a big session at the driving range just in time for the tee time Kyle and Jackson didn’t exactly start as they planned being 3 down through 9 holes. But they won 3 of the next 4 highlighted by Kyle’s 2nd shot on 13 finishing a couple of feet from the hole!
The final holes were neck and neck with Kyle again coming in with a highlight on the 18th holing a 20 foot downhiller!
Extra holes was needed to split the 2 pairs in fast fading light. Showing his 43 years of experience of being a member at Green Acres, Thad calmy parred the 19th to halve the hole and then a nett par on the 20th sealing the win for Thad and Dicky!
