Carpet Laying
Laying of broadloom carpet is in the final stages, with Saturday and perhaps Monday required to complete all areas. The Member’s Bar, Lounge and Dining Rooms are completed, and regular trading and use of the rooms has returned. The hall between the breezeway and reception, the main foyer and Board Room have underlay down and will be finished by Monday. The main entry doors from the Member’s car park will be closed until these areas are finished, so please enter and exit the clubhouse from the breezeway in the meantime.
Painting
The internal and external painting is nearly complete; the breezeway ceiling is yet to be painted and will require scissor-lift access for a few days. Exact timing when this is to occur will be advised, however this should not cause too much disruption. Contractors will do spot-checking and minor rectifications of the painting over the coming weeks.
Lighting
New lighting is on its way for the Member’s Bar, Lounge and Dining Room, exact dates will be advised but we plan for this to occur before the end of the month. Electrical works may cause some disruption, and we will try to minimise this as much as possible.
New Furniture
At this stage, timing of the delivery and install of new clubhouse furniture is early March. Further updates will be forthcoming in coming weeks.
